LIFE IS A CHOICE
Life is a choice. Two friends inseparable; but in life who you fall inlove with can become your biggest MISTAKE. This story takes a turn on how love and revenge get mixed up. Come and meet a young girl who fell inlove with her enemy in persuit of her brother's murderer. But little does she know that the family she has is just a facade. Will she fall or rise above it all? _Something about him seemed off. I was about to say something when he began to talk. "Tell me, what's going on in that pretty little head of yours?" "Excuse me!? Dev, he saw the same dream every night, the same beautiful curly haired girl, looking at him with those pleading pair of eyes, but he could do nothing to save her from drowning. He tried to avoid this weird attraction towards an imaginary girl, tried to fight the growing pain inside him but what did he do when the girl from his dreams came into his life like a gust of wind? He settled to his instincts. Instincts that made him borderline obsessive. Rik, he learned to control the pain, the dream didn't bother him anymore the way it bothered his twin brother, at least that's what he told himself, that the suffocations are normal, that not finding peace at anything was normal, that painting the picture of her and keeping them secret was normal. He hated her for disturbing his peace of mind, until the day he saw her from the very front. And then he knew he will do anything to have her in his life. Teressa, being ignorant to everything, dived into a world that took her back to the darkest part of her life. A life that kept following her from the past, along with the twin brothers. The more she learnt the more pain she felt it. The growing emotion, that led her towards the truth. Love never came easily for Nathan Reed. Growing up, when his friends would get girlfriends, he would always be the single one. He would be the one third wheeling at the eighth grade dance, homecoming, prom, and any other event involving his friends. At age twenty three in his junior year of college, he's accepted his fate of being single forever. He stopped having crushes four years ago when she asked him for his best friends phone number. That is until Odeletta Guillotin walks into his French class for the first time, three days after the class already started, late, in a black leather jacket and combat boots. When the teacher talks in French after she's settled in her seat, saying something that nobody understands, Odeletta responds in fluent French. Nathan is promptly intrigued by her. She doesn't even notice him, and he finds himself noticing everything she does, from the way she grips her pen to the way she furrows her eyebrows when she's concentrating. He finds himself wanting to talk to her, but after years and years of rejection, he can't do it. "You never forget your first love." Mandy was a tragic hopeless-romantic as a kid. She fell in love at a young age with her best friend from her Martial Arts class, and confessed her feelings through a love letter. Soon after, things changed - HE changed. And Mandy never saw him again. Now, as a 17 year-old high school student, Mandy was at the peak of her high school career. She was on top of all things school-related, and now going into the summer of her senior year. But out of nowhere, it all was taken from her when her parents decided to move. Whilst in a new environment, she meets new people, but meets someone old as well. She found herself going to the same school as her childhood crush.
