"I had no idea where I wanted to be. In truth, I didn't want to be anywhere. In my mind, existence was optional... And at times, confusing. So I planned to do what I always did in this situation; I'd drive. No particular direction, just onto the nearest highway. But the problem when I don't know where I'm going is that I always seem to end up in the same place. Deep Creek; one of the only places I have ever felt truly at peace in this world."

Zack Wild, an over-bearing, over-planning, late teenager is as about average as they get. But a slight obsession with the afterlife is about to give him the proof he's been searching for, but not how he wanted. Photos and legends were to become as real to him as everyday life.

So what does it mean when I look into her eyes and see the fires of hell? I'm Mickey. A small town girl with a small town's view of the world. But after going into that house, things get a little freaky in Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Reoccurring dreams keep me awake, and memories haunt me during the day. But then, I meet Zoe. Combat boots, metal music, and red highlights, with a fiery attitude to match. With a fear of next to nothing and curiosity the size of North America, she's the reason I find myself in that house again. But this time, we don't come out of there so lucky. As ghosts become reality, and demons become things that aren't only found in horror movies, we find out that we must help what's good and send what's evil back to where it truly belongs. And when those demons become problems, both figuratively and realistically, we soon find out that this is a test that we need each other to pass.
