Osiris, a young monster in his late twenties, is slowly dying. His flesh slowly peels away bit by bit, along with his willingness to live. He's almost ready to give up completely when he finds a scruffy dog-girl rifling through his trashcan. He discovers that her name is Layla, and Osiris finds himself feeling a sense of duty to help her, along with her younger sister, have a better life before his time is up. Putting aside the rope around his neck few more years doesn't seem like such a bad idea, after all...
