BOOK 2 OF CAGED!!! DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU HAVENT READ CAGED BOOK 1!! Warnings: - sickeningly sweet romance - mentions of sex - a LOT of fluff - LGBTQ - Gayness -Homophobia - love confessions - characters with mental issues Reincarnation? How ridiculous. At least, that's what 19-year-old Oliver Menton thought-until the day he woke up feeling like a stranger in his own body, as though he were living someone else's life like a story unfolding before him. But with a loving family and the kingdom's most famous bakery to his parents' name, Oliver decided to embrace the life he had, even if something about it felt oddly... incomplete. It had been three years since the tragic loss of Prince Consort Zwei Lloyd, and Prince Desmond Yohan III still carried the weight of grief and regret. So when a trip to a local bakery led him face-to-face with someone who looked almost identical to his late brother's husband, it was as if fate had reached out to him. Haunted by memories and driven by a desire to love better than his brother had in the past, Desmond found himself returning to the bakery every day, his heart stirring each time Oliver greeted him with a smile-and his exact order memorized. Desmond told himself he would keep his feelings hidden, content to admire Oliver from afar. But when he finally makes his first move, he discovers that perhaps fate had other plans-plans that just might entwine their hearts in a love story neither expected but both desperately needed.

Bram let out a quiet chuckle, shaking his head. "Don't look at me like that," he said. "The only prince of Sylvania living in my lands, and you thought I wouldn't know?" His voice was light, almost teasing-but there was something else beneath it. Mikaela swallowed hard, gripping the railing a little tighter. This was bad. Bram's gaze sharpened as he turned fully toward Mikaela, arms loosely crossed. "What if I didn't know?" he mused. "Would you have lied?" Mikaela tensed. The urge to ask how Bram had figured it out clawed at him, but he swallowed it down. Instead, he looked away. "I was told to hide it." Bram hummed, considering his words. "So you would lie." He didn't sound surprised-just mildly entertained. "And if you did..." He leaned slightly closer, voice lowering just enough to make Mikaela's breath hitch. "I'd believe it completely." This is not a love story. It is a war, dressed in longing.
