Adriana Hernandez barely remember's her parents; all she knows is one day they dropped her off at daycare as usual, but never returned.
That was 10 years ago, and still haunts Adriana to this day. The Police have searched everywhere for her parents, but never found them. She's been raised by a kind officer on the case, Officer Kiara Cruz, or Kia for short. The only thing from her parents that she still has is a stuffed animal named Primrose Misty Moon.
But at the beginning of 6th grade, Adriana does a test, and gets perfect scores, qualifying her to an academy that has an advanced course for only a trimester in California. Once she gets there though, she finds out about her fellow classmates. Elliot, a headstrong boy. Kiki, a quiet but friendly type of girl. Ayesha, a muslim girl not afraid of judgement. Alex, a sissy. Jerry, a natural born cook. Helen and Raina, two identical twins that can be hard to tell who's who. But the best one is Grace. She's literally perfect, and steals the spot in being the best in the class. You could say she's a Mary Sue, even.
Soon after a week, Grace goes missing, along with the teachers. They can't leave the school until they find out who kidnapped Grace, and they better do it fast, because voices are coming in their heads, telling them what to do. Another dilemma is that strange things happen around them. Objects float, Illusions appear, and kids pass through walls. The strangest thing is that Primrose, Adriana's stuffy, started talking, and strange vortexes are forming around her!
As the search continues, can Adriana find out where Grace is, dead or alive? And who kidnapped her?
