I combined all the Lakota Nation together in one story. 
Summary. The past is gone but not forgotten. A young boy named White Hawk has a rare gift. His parents do not have an answer to why he is going through this. He gets angry easily, he sees things that are not there, the elders believe it is a gift from the creator to talk to the ancestors that have passed on. Over the years White Hawk is getting worse, the older he gets the more he realizes that something is not right. Eventually, it will destroy his family and friends until he gets the proper help he needs.All Rights Reserved

I decided to write this memoir for my kids. Kalina, Braylon and Bryce. I wanted them to know how I grew up and what all happened when I was a child. Maybe one day they can sit down and read this little book and remember MOMMA. I want to also apologize if this memoir offends any family member, every one has their memories of events in their lives. Let me tell mines as I lived them and as they were told to me by other family members during my lifetime. This book is filled with traumatic yet funny memories of my upbringing. It's a tell all from what I went through, in my eyes not anyone else's. Hope you enjoy reading this as I've enjoyed writing it. It's not meant to seek pity, instead it's written to shine light on the real problems of society. poverty, single moms, the damage due to drugs, incest, abuse and most of all, origins of brokenness. When I was four, my family moved from Pascagoula, Mississippi to Alaska. Daddy was minister, and he went to Alaska as a missionary. That made me an MK, missionary's kid. This is the story of my experiences from age 4 to 9. Memory is a strange thing. Some of what I remember vividly, my mother said didn't happen the way I remember it. While Mama recently passed and is not around to argue with my interpretation, I apologize ahead of time to my siblings whose memories might vary from mine. While the story is based on my memories, I have added fictional details when my memory of those details fails me. This makes the story more readable. The bulk of the story takes place in Fort Yukon, an Indian village north of the Arctic Circle. While Indian may not be the politically correct term today, it was the word used for native Americans when I was a child and so that is what I will use.

I was told to add more chapters to this story, I am going to re-read my handwritten copy and see if I can add more chapters to it.
