A despairing world ripped between supernatural people and normal, simple people has been regulated into an endless circle of death, silence and tears. The Changing. A process every 5 years of who'll receive a gift or who'll remain as they always were. Penniless. Broken. Silent. But for Soraya, that's all she wants. To live and die together with her father.
