You grew up beneath glowing skylines and neon signs, believing that the endless lights of the streets could fill every empty space inside of you. The city of Marley was your comfort, your escape, and the only place you had ever called home, even with the dark past that always loomed over you. But when new opportunities arrive, you transfer from Marley State University to Paradis University, leaving everything behind to start over in the quiet countryside. You settle with a group of welcoming people and you end up meeting Armin Arlert - whose warmth seems to reach places inside of you that no city light ever could and what begins as an unlikely friendship slowly blossoms into something deeper. You discover a truth you had never expected: all of those years spent chasing the brilliance of the city had distracted you from what you truly needed. Because sometimes, the brightest lights aren't found in skyscrapers or neon signs-they're found in the people who stay beside you when your world goes dark.
