its after the great war with Gaea and Percabeth is finally up and rolling ,but all of a sudden Percy and Annabeth are teleported to Ares where he offers a ''generous'' gift for their bravery. Percy takes it but is driven mad and sick when he opens it. when he is ''cured'' he is never the same and breaks up with Annabeth for a new Ares girl who only arrived the same day.
