10 years ago, the human race suffered a cataclysmic event that killed a large part of humanity. This event was called the second impact.

In the present day, monsters known as Angels terrorize humanity by trying to cause the third impact.

With normal weapons from bullets to nuclear weapons not affecting them, a company known as Smart brain takes it upon themselves to create equipment to fend off the Angels.

With the creation of the rider system, humanity finally has what they need to fight back.

Will humanity survive or will the Angels win?
