In Lyra's world, humans have the ability to control the elements. Many years ago, they used to live in peace, but one group of people decided to rise above everyone else. Their primary goal is to unleash an ancient evil that the world hasn't seen in over a millennium.
Lyra Elberos doesn't know where she came from or who her parents are. She was found wrapped in rags, and taken in by a loving family. She has always had normal life until a meeting with a strange man hurls her into a war where she discovers something about herself she didn't know before.

It's bad enough she's trapped with no way home in such a dangerous place, but when she comes across signs of a monster lurking somewhere on this uncharted isle, she comes to find that the worst of her nightmares have only just begun. because the thing that's been stalking her from the shadows as fangs and scales just like the creatures she fears the most, with intentions of keeping her trapped with it on the isle.
