(~IMPORTANT! This is the sequel to Night Fury's Venom, go back and read that first, or this story will not make sense!~)
Darkness is slowly enveloping the world, originating from a place only known through rumors of the past, darkness born of jealousy, contempt, and anger. An insidious plot to dominate all life is in motion, and a tyrannical ruler with cruelty unmatched by any other is at its head. Such things are merely fantasies, only tales told to hatchlings to scare them into behaving lest they be taken by the monsters of the dark. Or is it?
A duo of saviors in the most unlikely of forms seem to be the only ones capable of pushing back the consuming darkness, but does the world deserve these "heroes?" Dragonkind must find a way to redeem themselves in the eyes of their last hope before time runs out, or watch the world burn around them.

Thora has reached thirty-three years of age, and she's doing just fine with raising her children and her clan of Night Furies. However, her peace is coming to an end.
