This is a field testing prototype of a much larger story I'm working on. I thought Wattpad would be a good way to get early reactions so I know what to expect and how to mover further.

I am a monster. I am a monster for leaving my father to die on that horrible day when they caught up to us. Maybe this is stupid to feel this way. I would have died either way. The only difference is dying in cowardice, for running away from your prison, or dying in pride, going down fighting for a noble cause, knowing that you changed something. This is not to humble-brag, but I've been critiquing and have worked with story development for quite some time, and I've picked up a lot along the way. ☙ - As an Ambassador, I work on content projects. ☙ - If you look at my profile, you'll see everything I've published so far has managed to standout in one way or another, whether by leading me to become a Wattpad Star; or by winning a Watty (twice!); or by being picked as a Top 10 in major Wattpad contests (twice!); or being featured. One Short Story A Day PT2
I'm going to attempt to write a short story every day for a year. I just decided to load them onto Wattpad. Feel free to follow the journey, comment on the stories, and if you have any good writing prompts, I'd love to hear them. This is PART TWO, as I just found out there is a limit to how many chapters can be in a story on Wattpad.
Shades of Winter (bxb)
A serial killer and a Hero. Playing a game of cat and mouse while wreaking havoc. Which will outsmart the other? What will be revealed as they get closer and learn more about each other? "Reality is whatever I want." "We'll see." This story uses Marvel's idea of infinity stones, but they're more prevalent. Everyone has at least one. I have an external link at the bottom of most of the chapters that leads to a Google Doc that explains the world. Please let me know if it works. Since Wattpad has an age of consent in their guidelines, I will have the explicit scenes on AO3 and not on here. If scenes like that make you uncomfortable, this will be the version without any of that. If you're curious, I don't use any of the more graphic words, this kind of thing makes me a bit uncomfortable so I wrote it in a way that didn't make me feel weird. Either way, you read whichever version you like. The Wattpad version will allude to some of those scenes however because some are quite important. I'll probably put an announcement or something at the start to let you know.
