"Sounds more like a demand then anything," Muttered Race.

"What was that?" Said Spot, taking a step closer to Race until they were face to face. Well, face to chin, but still.

"I said," Race slightly bent his knees so that he was level with Spot, "It sounds like a demand more then anythin', and besides, then the sheepshead races might close. That isn't a win for anybody." Race stood up straight and crossed his arms.

"Well den, Ise can just go sellin' with ya," Spot said, mimicking Races stance and crossing his arms.

"What?" Race said, slightly shocked at what Soot had just stated.

"Youse heard me, Ise can go sellin with ya then."

"Alright then. I'll see you there tomorrow mornin'."

"A'ight," Spot said. Both boys hadn't realized the close proximity between them, and only realized how close they had been once Race turned his back and walked away, Spot doing the same.
