This is the second book in the Heroes & Roses story line. If you haven't read the first book I suggest you do, since there will be subject in this book that refer to the first.

After the King disappeared he didn't re-appear for a while; a year and a half to be exact. Ryan Haywood finds the Achievement Hunters, who now work for Rooster Teeth productions, after fleeing the fight that happened a year and a half ago. Things get hard for the Heroes when they realize a new enemy has appeared to cause more trouble, but with elections happening they have to split their resources. There's more drama, action, and heroes then ever before, and there will also be a whole lot of crying. Who will prevail, the heroes, or the roses?
