After the King disappeared he didn't re-appear for a while; a year and a half to be exact. Ryan Haywood finds the Achievement Hunters, who now work for Rooster Teeth productions, after fleeing the fight that happened a year and a half ago. Things get hard for the Heroes when they realize a new enemy has appeared to cause more trouble, but with elections happening they have to split their resources.
