The Letter

Effie Greer, an intriguing girl. Her life was perfect, or so everyone thought. She hid behind happiness and laughter, hiding her true life, thoughts and feelings. Effie was great friends with the Weasley's, The Trio, and Draco Malfoy. Not many people disliked Effie, she was an amazing person who aspired greatness and kindness. Effie fell madly in love with Fred Weasley, as he did with her. They were perfect together, everyone believed so, even Malfoy. Though none of the others took a liking to Draco, Effie did. She didn't see a boy who was mean, cruel, and filthy. She saw a boy who simply was given no choice, a broken boy, a lonely and distraught boy. This gave Draco a friend, a real friend. Fred was okay with the friendship, not that his granting to it meant anything to Effie, she didn't let anyone tell her what to do. Everyone looked up to her, cherished her, loved her. Her life was "perfect", but what happens when her life takes a huge turn. The happy becomes the sad, the loved becomes the hated, the desired becomes the unwanted. Effie disappear's, Fred no longer in contact with his lover, Draco without his friend, The Trio without their joker and protector. Everyone is hurt and confused. Then one day, a letter comes, from Effie. The letter, the last letter. Her letter, an explanation as well as a goodbye and an 'I'm sorry.' Her friends won't let his be the last time they talk to her, they study the letter in hopes of finding Effie's codes and secrets.
