ShadowNight is a secret BlackWing animus, traveling the continent of Pyrrhia with a SilkWing called Candycane. Amethyst is a NightWing assassin, and she was sent to kill ShadowNight, or she herself will be killed. Sun is the first Slasher-dragon, as well as an Imposter. Fossa was a beautiful RainWing thrown in SkyWing prison for three long years. All of them are later escapees, hunted by the elite SkyWing general, Bonfire, who has teamed up with Soul, a vengeful SilkWing. Will they complete their missions, or will General Bonfire and Soul capture them first?

His copy of the general's pose at attention was laughable, and Prion felt as if the crowd was enjoying the entertainment. He felt his family's eyes on him and shrank internally at the humiliation he was bringing them. But as the general continued, Prion's posture deflated. Every word punctuated his growing horror: "Your failure to act has resulted in the destruction of the palace and the deaths of many nobles. You have been charged with treason and are exiled accordingly by Her Majesty, Queen Chalcedony. If you wish to return to your place in the Kingdom, Her Majesty will grant you pardon... only if you return with the heart of The Blue Comet in your talons." . . . Cursed with two full moons, she has a small ability to see the future- one which she knows will improve if she meets actual NightWings. With that in mind, she travels to the rainforest... only to find something world-changing- an old animus-touched bracelet, which, when broken. would restore animus magic... and make whoever broke it an animus. Whoever made it, Aster breaks the bracelet, and with it starts something neither continent had ever been able to achieve- dragonets of different tribes forming a family of sorts. Set 20 years after the Flames of Hope, this story has 7 protaganists.Complete
