Children of Zau

Jai Youngblood, a veteran of the Battle of Glavien which occurred six years prior, struggles to find her purpose as the memories come back to haunt her. She tasks herself with taking in and leading the runaway kids, the Children of Zau, the ones who were born with these various magic powers and were outcasted because of it. As the government of nation of Ardor faces corruption and loses tolerance for the Zaubegat (Children of Zau) she has no choice but to fight back, as her childhood heroes had, as her friends from the Battle would have done.

(The chapters in this aren't going to be very long, so I can post more often. I'm thinking perhaps once a week, twice if I'm particularly motivated)
