When Planet Saruta is destroyed. A nineteen year old, young woman named Astra, along with twenty-five other survivors, including her Mother, seek refugee on Planet Earth. 
Once the United States hears the alarming news of an unidentified space craft entering the Earth's atmosphere they prepare to take all those onboard captive once the ship has landed. 
As you read The Golden Keepers, you will discover the powers that Astra absorbs as her body adjusts to Earth. Astra struggles with her feelings of not fitting in with the humans. As she tries to control her anxiety and gain more self confidence things start to take a turn.

In the year 2149 Dylan De Rovia is trying to wrap her head around the idea that in two year's she'll be paired. That they call marriage on the Ark. Pairing is good most who are paired do end-up staying together because while genetics play good part in determining a match so does personality. Some people choose to use spend this time having a good time with as many partners as possible. Dylan however, vowed that she would never fall in love with anyone before pairing. The universe had other plans however, when Dylan learns that she'll pair with an Upper named Kyive Sinclar life gets more complicated than ever. Falling in love is hard enough falling in love in space that the story.
