Previously, in the first book, Jabari and Amari went to a house welcoming party with their friends from high school. A blackout from spiked, alcoholic drinks led these characters to awake in an abandoned house full of death traps and a masked killer with a strong motive for revenge. Jabari and Amari were the only known characters to survive.

The masked killer is back! After the first encounter, Jabari awakes inside a hospital with his close friend, Amari by his side. Just before the two are able to leave the hospital, the masked killer makes an appearance causing the entire hospital to be placed under lockdown. Now, these two must survive the dangerous encounter once again. Only this time, there's plenty of ways to escape if they are willing to break a few rules.All Rights Reserved

We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me. He stared at us and chuckled, "Found you." · · · Seven classmates find themselves in detention from breaking the rules at their school. This, of course, isn't their first time in detention but something seemed different. The teacher leaves to do something leaving the kids completely unsupervised which was kind of weird. He usually left some goody two shoes to watch them but this time there was no one except them. Creepy things begin to happen and they find themselves locked in the school. What was this? Time is ticking as they try to find their way out before they end up lying in a puddle of their own blood.
