Although his family reassured him that it was just a side effect of alcohol and his medication, he swears it's all too real. Will he prove to everyone the monster lurks right under thier nose? Or will he fall under to his insanity.

The Torment
December twentieth is the day I remember being brought into the asylum for the first time. Like any typical psychopath, I screamed. I cried. I remember snatching the nurse's hair until she screamed and I was slapped into unconsciousness and thrown into the room. The only difference? I wasn't a psychopath. For the first few days, I would cry maniacally upon hearing any nurse go by, to catch one's attention and tell her that I wasn't insane. "That's exactly what an insane person would say" They said, unbothered and it was as if my fate rested in the mouldy walls of the Asylum. In an attempt to get the two bickering countries to get along, Alfred and Ivan must spend one month together in one of Alfreds homes. In a house set back into the woods, these two countries are going to grow closer together and learn more about eachother then anyone else has before. Even a few things that they never wanted the other to find out. *Warning* Depressed America. Suicidal thoughts. Suicide attempt. Vulgar language. Maybe smut? The Actor
Is the clown the fool of the story, or are you? After all, the clown knows it's an act, but the audience is so lost in it that they tend to forget. Alfred had lived a long life. He'd learned a lot in it. That England was easy to gaslight if you knew what you were doing. France would back away from any show of force. Germany could ignore a bumbling idiot even as the evidence piled up just because he wasn't very good with people. Poland saw everything and read people like a book. Prussia would keep his mouth shut if you gave him enough liquor or made him obedient. Russia would turn a blind eye if you turned one to him. China never trusted anyone even if there was evidence of the contrary.
