Surprised..? Another collection of poems from... almost 9th grade minds!
These poems are about our quarantined summer and any personal experiences we went through, whether that be events or thoughts or feelings.
We hope you enjoy and find special meaning for yourself in these poems. May you know that you are not alone in this time! I know it's being published a little late but perhaps you still find some solace in these!
While some of these were inspired by someone, to someone, or about someone, all of these were important to us and have a special meaning. Most were about ourselves and our personal experiences, though.

The Words I couldn't Say
This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered. I don't mean to cause anyone problems of any sort, but these are the things I feel and can't help. Please keep negativity away as this is a sensitive subject for a lot of people. Thank you. A collection of emotional and inspirational poetry that may pull on your heart strings. I hope my words inspire you and fill your heart with love, hope and encouragement.
