Akina and her pride lived in the remote areas of South Africa, they have the ability to change their forms, they choose to shift into lions.

Unforeseen circumstances had forced the pride to move away to a place that is foreign to them.

They claim a territory near the local town but are unaware of another shifter living nearby.

The only good thing about Spokane, Washington is the forest and the men. The vampire Edward Cullen is out hunting one night and comes across the beautiful but unusual jaguar. He can't get the great cat out of his head. And so starts off a strange relationship of late night one way talks. Edward tells the jaguar everything and in return the cat listens. During the day the cat sits in human form next to him but he has no interest. Could this whole relationship truly be one sided? PG-13 for strong language.

He was small, scared, and trying to save the only family he had. He never thought he'd be strong enough to bring a Lion to his knees. Excerpt: 'Better come out of there. You are on our land, if you are injured we'll help and get you on your way. We don't want trespassers.' Still I say nothing. 'Come on, you can't stay here come out or we'll have to come in after you.' I curl tighter around my babies and growl. No way would I let them near my babies. 'Now, now, we've been nice don't get unfriendly or we'll have to add to your injuries before we heal you.' Slipping to my feet I keep my body over my babies without squishing them. Whether it was my moving, my fear or they could smell our visitors but they began to whimper and squirm. Both lioness perk up at the sound. 'Stay away.' I tell them. 'You've babies? This is not the place for them.' One says, the other shifts her weight. 'The blood, you just gave birth didn't you? Where's your family? Can we call someone?' 'No. Go away, let me rest for a time and I'll take my babies and leave your territory.' 'You can't just wonder around with a newborn. How are you going to care for them. Come with us we'll take care of you until you get back on your feet.' 'No, I don't know you. Go away.' 'We won't hurt you.' I couldn't believe that, I couldn't trust these strangers. They were lions, lions were not known for being kind. I'd come out and they'd kill me and my babies.

Sarah Aspen was 18 when her tribe, the Amara Tribe, was attacked by Werewolves. Her tribe was right outside of Austin, Texas... Right where the West Mountain pack was located. The two packs of Werewolves had come together and wiped out all of their kind, they hated Shifters with a passion. All but Sarah, who happened to slip away. They took over cities, turned the strongest of the humans, and wiped out the weak human race. The cities are no longer used, they were just left for grass to engulf the worthless buildings. I dont know what hurt me only the marks it left. "Answer ME!" His words make me stiffen and I feel my hands reach for the bottom of my shirt. I slide it off and turn to the man. A stand there chest exposed. I'm boney from lack of food and bruised from my foster father and brother. Amid all the fresh brusing three white lines stand out stretching from my shoulder to my hip. "This is what they were healing!" I yell trying not to cry. I remember the pain of the marks when they were fresh. Feeling embarrassed I put my shirt back on. "Rouges." The man whispers. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. "You know better than that." He says.
