Asmi has always been taught the usual things that a girl her age learns while living in Elixir Kingdom: sit up straight, always smile, and catch an eligible suitor's eye. After the tragic death of her family and the destruction of her family's cottage, she is forced to move into a family friend's house where all she experiences is neglect and abuse.
