Lady Charlotte Eastford is also perfect; an Earl's daughter, from another respectable and wealthy family, pretty, witty.... if not for her scandalous reputation as a harlot. Very much, though their similarities, they are quite the opposite. Lady Eastford is exactly the type of woman Lord Alexander avoids, and Lady Eastford doesn't pay a man like Alexander any mind. 

But a scandal and a death will force them both into the bounds of matrimony. It is, of course, nothing short of disastrous. But the tables will soon turn...
