His father is a prestigious engineer, working for the higher ups, and his mother, a clothes maker, and Matthew is usually shunned at school and by society for the former. Matthew's barely normal existence is shattered when the world around him starts changing with the implementation of new, brutal technologies: converting the living into robot-like machines, and the responsibility falls on his unassuming shoulders to right the wrongs.
