Adam lives in New York with his husband and their four children. A virus has spread around the world, turning people into zombies. People go crazy and the grocery store quickly empties of food. Friends become enemies and you can't trust anyone. 

Adam and his family try to get out of the town and find a safe place out in the country side. They find a house but the danger is not over.
