After the mysterious disappearance of her father, Mira has been left nothing more than the journal of his studies. Thrust into adventure, she must overcome the darkness of the world to fulfill his final request: "Be better than me." Combining elements of fantasy, Southern lore, mythos, scifi, and D&D, Landes weaves a unique gothic fairy tale of gods, magic, and intrigue. This work takes inspiration from the writings of H.P Lovecraft, Neil Gaiman, Tolkien, and Micheal McDowell with a focus on crafting a new Southern mythos.
