Gwendolyn Manners boarded the Metro at 8:01 pm on a Tuesday night.
She was running away from her life, and as she soon discovered, so were the six other people on the Metro with her.

But their separate escapes are cut short by a man who tells them to exit the Metro into the dark, empty subway tunnels. His conditions are that if they find their way out before 1 am, they can be free. If not, one person will have to die in order for the others to live. And, of course, there will be plenty of obstacles in the tunnel that will try their hardest to make sure none of them ever leave.

Gwendolyn knows escaping before 1 am is their only option, but some of her new companions might have different plans. Everyone around her has a dirty little secret and a shocking reason for ending up on a Metro with her on that quiet Tuesday night.

May Legends Become Champions: Round One

24 parts Complete

This could be it. I quickly start to look around the place before the torture starts. Every piece of information I can get stands out to me as my mind connects the pieces. Brianna also seems jumpy as she watches Raphael get up to look at the farthest door where the other passengers came from. Raphael takes a surprised step back as he looks through the small window again. He slowly turns around and his face is pale as he says, "The other part of the subway is gone." "What?!" A tall man says with wide eyes. "No! That's impossible! We just came from there!" The rest of them nervously look around as Ben gets up to look through the window of the conductor's room. Michelle gets up to see what Raphael keeps seeing and Brianna lets out a nervous pant. "There's no conductor." I stand at this and my blood falls to my feet. Frantic looks go around the place and nervous voices fill our ears along with the scrapping sound of the subway. I turn around to look at the other passengers and my eyes catch the red lights from the moving letters on one part of the roof. I gulp and sweat starts down my neck as I read its bright letters. Welcome back, players.
