Lance starts coughing up red flower petals at the beginning of a school day. He realizes that he has Hanahaki. It is up to him, Pidge, and Hunk to find out who he likes and stop this disease. 

This is a really old story that I recently dug up and decided to put it somewhere other people might enjoy it as well...

Keith has confusing feelings for Lance. He can't pinpoint what they are. All he knows is that he isn't satisfied with their rivalry and Lance denying their bonding moment hurts. Before he knew it, he began to cough up petals. (Hanahaki is a disease which involves coughing up flowers because of unrequited love.)

Lance has had a crush on Keith ever since he first laid eyes on him. Keith is totally oblivious to his feelings and Lance is okay with that. He doesn't want to ruin the relationship they already have. Lance hasn't told anyone about his feelings about Keith because he knows they'll tease him about it.
