Book Two of the Redemption Series
Dan Phantom, aka Dark Danny, has a chance to redeem himself after helping in the battle against the Fright Knight with Emily, Vlad Masters, and a few of the ghosts from the Ghost Zone. Clockwork assigns him the task of helping a human whose timeline has been fractured.
Y/n has no memory of the missing five years of her life. She has night terrors every night to the point where she cannot get any sleep, one to two hours if she is lucky enough to get any sleep. A friend of hers recommended to get a roommate to stay in her house with her, thinking its just the fear of living alone that is giving her the night terrors. Y/n puts an ad out looking for a roommate. Dan finds the perfect opportunity to help her out and earn his redemption. Soon Y/n's dark past comes back to haunt her and it is no longer about repairing someone's timeline, its about saving someone's life.
Will Dan's efforts be in vain trying to help Y/n figure out her past and why she is missing five years of her life or will everything go up in smoke?

It has been three years since Amity Park first saw ghosts, and now it was uncommon to go a day without an explosion or fight of some kind. Heroes have shown up, the Red Huntress, the GIW, The Fenton's, and Phantom. Danny Fenton used to be an A+ student; he was going to go on to be an astronomer, an astronaut, and live out his dreams of visiting the stars. However, they cannot have a halfling as their king, so the only viable option is to kill his human half. Thankfully that has already been written into the coronation process. They just need to collect the ingredients for the potion. Danny Phantom would rather not be king, but he doesn't get a say in the matter. - The title is from the song Dark on Me from Starset. I just thought it was kind of cool. I started writing this a while ago, and I have a few parts already written, but I am going to hold off on posting them because I have a habit of procrastination, so maybe waiting to post for a few days or so will help me actually update it.
