Gabriel O'Sullivan was a nobleman in 1435, living in a castle that overlooks Dublin Ireland until he was changed into a vampire by a mysterious man.  His new existence takes him on a journey from France in the midst of its battle for independence, back to his ancestral homeland of Ireland, to modern-day Philadelphia.  In search of his kind and a purpose to their existence, he crosses paths with vampires whose intentions are unclear, humans who seem to harbor a dark secret, and one person who causes him to challenge his views on many things.  He once thought that humans were for little more than to please vampires and sate their hunger, and his belief that he is a superior being.  This person helps him escape his feelings of emptiness and the battles that are fought within.  Only knowing this peace once in his immortal life he is drawn to this person and goes to them again and again against his better judgment, drowning in the pull they have over him.All Rights Reserved
