I know what I want but I'm not sure how to get it. I mean,I was but not anymore,not after he happened. It's like someone has pulled the plug on me,someone has drawn the rug from under my feet.
Stupid! Stupid!! Stupid!!! That's what I was. How could I? I thought he was different,isn't that what we always think? A gentleman,but oh boy! was I wrong. I wouldn't forget that smirk. Not in a million years. It speaks volumes without any actual words spoken.
Years ago I would have hidden,crawled back to beg for acceptance. But not anymore. I'm not that naive,under confident girl I once was. I am braver,stronger,more confident. I am the boss.
