But what? What is it that's missing right now? Everything seems normal, at least to his eye, but as he continues to turn his head his fingers flex and he knits his brows together uneasily.

The ultimate caretaker (a shadamy story)
during a huge fight to the death with Mephiles Sonic was kicked to the side mid fight to the point where he passed out and went unconscious. Sadly, they did not have any chaos emeralds, which would've made the battle easier, shadow was left to be the only one fighting the big problem, Mephiles...while the others were fighting his goons shadow manages to defeat Mephiles but not without a brutal beat down, even for the ultimate life form he had his limits. When the fight was done, he was left there, two semi broken legs, a deep, deep cut in his torso, and cuts between his left arm. The others who are fighting alongside G.U.N have been left with bruises and many scars, but nothing compared to what the seemingly immortal ultimate life form had. After the battle was done and the world was saved shadow was still crippled, Amy was determined to make sure shadow will be perfectly healed and take care of him for as long as she needed to her motherly instincts wouldn't let it happen any other way also her will as well, and maybe a tiny bit of her early teenage crush on shadow. They grew closer to each other after spending a full week of recovery awkward, funny and sentimental moments that occurred during the week they had spent together also finding out what their true feelings are for one another. Edit: This was done when I was 12/13 so read at your own risk, lots of my dyslexia showcased and really bad old art (the Eggman thing haunts me to this day T-T) But I'm keeping the description on top and the chapters the same as it was cuz why not.Complete

He slip out a groan out of his lips, after his brain start to work again, trying so hard to make sense of this situation. He hissed trying to starighten up to analyze around himself, leaning on the frame of the bed with a sigh. A headache piercing through his head. He forced his heavy hand up to his head and tried to stop the pain. With the pain, his memories became more confused and blurred. Still couldn't understand or remember what's going on, he felt more anixious by the minute. Before he can panic, a hand softly gripped his shoulder, gently urging him back towards the welcoming pillows. Seeing a blurry image of a royal blue figure his rapid heart beat slows down. Then it hit me, Shadow was missing, Sonic was flirting with Sally, I felt like something punched me in the heart. After ten, long, painful years, I got a job as a spy with Rouge, with Shadow still missing, the missions have been harder, tougher. I changed, I was able to keep my jealousy for Sonic secret, I could control my emotions better now. I have a new mission, I have to investigate the life presences in the forest we would be putting an underground base.
