Adelaide stared at him in fear for a moment before looking down at her arm. She slowly pulled up her sleeve with shaky hands and held it out toward her professor.
"Good girl," Quirrell told her. "Don't worry, it will only hurt for a few minutes. A small price to pay for a lifetime of honor."
Adelaide cringed, knowing that there was no way out of this. This was her life now. A life of darkness.
