"Fight, my love. Please, just this last time. After that, I'll make sure you'll never have to fight again. I promise."
~
Nesrin Snape, the lesser-known daughter of the infamous Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, lives a detached and comfortable life, making a point to never be the subject of anyone's interest. After spending a dull summer trapped in the lonely town of Cokeworth, never before has she anticipated the beginning of a new school year at Hogwarts and the chance to catch up with her friends.
That is, until the letters start arriving. As the strange and secretive meetings held by her father become frequent and the voices of those around her begin to whisper her name, the lifestyle Nesrin has become accustomed to crumbles before her.
For the first time, Nesrin is seen.
It doesn't help that Draco Malfoy, her childhood bully and the one person she has always found herself clashing with, takes a sudden interest in her, causing the only true friends she's ever known to turn their backs on her at a time she needs them most.
As if things couldn't get more complicated, Nesrin begins to find reasons to question her true identity, especially that of her parents'.
Can the bias she's always held against herself (and everyone around her) shift completely? And is it possible for Nesrin to truly find herself amid the chaos?
