Mallory does not believe in things. She doesn't believe in God. She doesn't believe in superstitions, and she most certainly does not believe in love.

In her mind, if it cannot be proven,

                                 it doesn't exist.

this story will be written horribly, messily and mistakenly. there isn't much of a story at all, to be honest. these are what fictional Mallory wishes for every night, on a star that holds a superstition that she doesn't believe in.

Note: the author DOES believe in God, so if you are offended by the character's beliefs, do not read.
