The End is near. Very, very near. Two more after her, and it's going to be the survival of the fittest. But why is a girl sent to the Group A, and through the exit of the Maze?
She is the independent variable, unaffected by others.
She can control time.
But whose side is she on? WICKED's or the Right Arm's?
Or is there a third contender in this race for the survival of the human race?

The drawling series of clicks was only making my heart beat faster. They were getting closer. I took off running again, faster this time. I couldn't stop running. If I did, surely I would die. My throat was dry and my skin slick with sweat. I'm sure I looked like a complete wreck but there was no one out here to judge me. Grinding my teeth I swerved around a bend, only to run smack dab into someone's chest. I bounced off of him, either because he was muscular or because I was just that frail.
