Audrey Jackson used to be a normal girl with a normal life and normal problems. One single event changed all of that, and now she lives her days with her heart out of sight and an uninviting look on her face. She stays in her lane and doesn't stray.

Enter Elliot. Elliot is the new kid in town and, for a reason unbeknownst to her, is determined to break down the walls that she has built up. He wants to be the friend she needs, but how is he supposed to do that when he doesn't even know why those walls are up in the first place?

Both have a past they would rather not talk about. Both of them have their own secrets to hide.
