When two International Police officers go missing on a routine investigation, it's down to the grandchildren of famous Trainers - from Wes to Leon to Courtney - to investigate. What they find is the opposite of the peaceful Orre they thought finally existed. No-one knows how long Ardos has been out, but there's a Ditto in his cell. He isn't, however, Grand Master. He's forced to give up his title to a master manipulator whose code name mocks his brilliant reputation: 'GoD,' or 'Gale of Darkness.'

People and Pokémon have terraformed Mars. Their new challenge is to turn it into a world that anyone would want to live in. Six astronauts, who survived the battle for Mars against the criminal syndicate Cipher, have planned the Harmony project. It aims to introduce four things: wild Pokémon, a Pokémon League, Battle Frontier and Pokémon Contests. Two key members of Cipher escaped, however. They want Mars more than ever now it's terraformed. Team Plasma are also out there somewhere. Can Amber collect all eight Badges with a four year-old in tow? The biggest concern of all, however, is... are they really living in a post-Team Plasma Unova? Angel Barnes wasn't your average 17 year old girl living in Vaniville Town. What you might not know is she was infact raised by Pokémon. How you may ask? Well, let's say she hasn't had the greatest life. Not only was she born an only child, but when she was born, her parents didn't want her so they gave her up for adoption. Going through life and already not knowing your real parents sucked for Angel because she grew up believing she was never meant to be loved. The orphanage took her and raised her until she was able to walk. After that, they took her to a park and left her there alone. Days went by and Angel was still at the park waiting for her foster parents but they never showed. She pieced together that she was abandoned...again. She had no parents, no foster parents, no friends, no love and no protection. By the time she was 7, she ran as far as she could and tried to raise herself but it was hard. When she ran off, not only was she exhausted, but hungry too. Whilst running, she collapsed from exhaustion. But a group of dog Pokémon not only managed to sniff her out, but they saw how little she was and raised her as their own. They took her to an abandoned cabin nearby and did everything for her. They raised her, fed her, bathed her, even stole things for her. By the time she was 10, she wanted Pokémon of her own. She started off with Fennekin before managing to capture 5 more Pokémon along the way...Including the Legendary Pokémon Yveltal himself... It wasn't easy, but Yveltal saw how truly hurt and broken Angel was and felt the same for being so misunderstood and unloved. He allowed her to capture him and they've had the strongest bond ever since and did everything he could to love and protect her. Now being 17, she still manages to live the life she can with her Pokémon and guardians, training, battling and well, surviving...but what happens when a couple of humans cross her path? What happens next on her new journey?

After the events of Pokemon XY&Z, Serena decides to go to Kanto with Ash to compete in Pokemon contests. While they're in Pallet Town, however, they meet a 28-year-old trainer named Timothy who forms a rivalry with Ash and challenges him to compete in the Indigo League again. Thus, with Serena's permission, Ash joins Serena on her journey through the Kanto region. Along the way they come across Ash's traveling companions as Serena competes in Pokemon contests and Ash rechallenged the gym where he didn't earn his badge properly. But unknown to Ash and his friends, Timothy, his Raichu, Electchu, and his best friend, Coovers from the International Police, are on a mission to go through the Battle Frontier in order to find Brandon who may have found the Gieldanstone: a white jewel that makes Arceus itself obey the will of anyone who holds it. The two men and the Raichu are attempting to retrieve the Gieldanstone before Team Rocket gets it and uses it for their ultimate plan to finally control all Pokemon and rule the world. Even so, if she finally finds herself in her homeland, she'll be happy. N's son Neptune has long accepted that his own son died in tragic circumstances. So when he gets an unexpected call from a stranger in Galar, claiming that his son is alive and well, he doesn't know what to think. This unidentified man also claims to be a member of the criminal syndicate Cipher. It's suspected that they aided Team Plasma's last revival, but why would even Team Plasma know the location of a baby who supposedly drowned when he was only one week old? Naturally, Neptune and his friends want to find out for themselves, but this is an International Police issue as well as a personal one. They send two promising young officers, Triton and Sam, but that won't be enough. They also enlist the help of a woman from Orre, Heather. She's a bounty hunter, hacker, frighteningly strong Trainer and most importantly, she can see the auras of Shadow Pokémon - which may well be necessary if Team Plasma and Cipher really are working together. Evil teams aren't the only enemies awaiting these young heroes in Galar. Heather thinks she's seen it all. She thinks she's immune to falling in love, but a mysterious and eccentric young man might just prove otherwise... and it might just impact the investigation.
