"You have a brain, but you lack all the things that make her live a better life. She has a high quality of life, and you needn't destroy it by loving her."

That day I cry to sleep and swear to myself that I won't let Jennie get into me again even though she isn't at fault. I know she will never say that to me because she is the sweetest girl I have ever seen, the lovely girl I have ever met, yet she will be the only thing I can never have in my life.

****
I am just a nerd. A nerd that almost everyone loves when there are exams or when someone needs a tutor to explain the lessons to them because outside of classrooms, I am nothing but a lame girl with a skinny body, a pair of glasses, and weird jokes that I make in classes for some of my friends to laugh.

The best joke I have ever made and laughed for myself, though, is the fact that I love Jennie Kim, my crush. The punchline is that no one has ever thought that a girl like me can love someone like Jennie.

Not that I complain or whine about it since I always know the truth and where it will end already. What to hope when she is the opposite of me, and it is certain that no matter what, she can't be mine.

Jennie Kim doesn't belong to me. And, I know it.

The Way You See Me- JENLISA von leomanoban
61 Kapitel Laufend
Autistic Lisa Manoban had never been ordinary. She was brilliant but misunderstood, soft-spoken yet unshakably steady. Her stutter made her a target of whispers, her routines and quiet habits made her seem distant. For years, she thought those things meant she would always stand apart, never quite belonging to anyone. Jennie Kim was the queen bee of Kim University. Sharp, fearless, adored and feared in equal measure. Her name carried power in every hallway, her gaze could silence a crowd. To most, Jennie was untouchable - too high above to be reached, too fierce to be tamed. But what no one expected was that the queen bee's gaze would fall on the quiet, autistic professor. And stay there. Lisa still tapped her fingers against the desk, a rhythm that calmed her when the world felt too loud. She still stumbled on words sometimes, still needed space when everything grew overwhelming. But none of it made Jennie step back. Instead, Jennie leaned closer, wrapping her arms around her from behind, pressing her chin lightly against Lisa's shoulder as if to say: you are safe with me. "Still tapping," Jennie whispered with a small smirk, her voice carrying the same playfulness it always did when she teased her. Lisa's lips curved, shy but steady. For once, she didn't look away. For once, she let herself believe. Because the queen bee had chosen her - not despite her autism, but with it. Because Jennie Kim saw her fully: vulnerable, strong, different, perfect. In the end, it wasn't the power of the queen or the brilliance of the professor that mattered. It was simply this: the way Jennie saw Lisa. And the way Lisa finally believed she deserved to be seen. "From the writer who gave you the delulu-inducing, canon fanfic Like It's 2019, Maybe ...comes another attempt at a JenLisa rom-com with chaos, feelings, and questionable decisions... but mostly, gay panic." SYNOPSIS: Stuck in a mediocre job and freshly dumped by her latest fling, Lisa Manoban is tired of feeling like a loser. So when her high school reunion looms, she decides to fake it till she makes it - literally. To save face, she tells everyone she's happily taken. Enter Jennie Kim: a stunning, mysterious woman Lisa found while scrolling through Instagram. Armed with decent Photoshop skills and a glass of wine, Lisa edits a couple photo and posts it. Her classmates eat it up. But the lie unravels faster than she imagined... Because Jennie Kim shows up at the reunion! Faking it? More like full-blown disaster. Now Lisa has to figure out how to survive the weekend, keep her secret from exploding, and maybe - just maybe - stop her fake girlfriend from walking out of her life for good. ~~~ Reader Reviews for TheMissusKim-M: "Is this G!P? I want it to be Lisa with a di*k." ~ emotionally invested, sexually confused commenter on HERS LOVE CHARMS & DONUTS "Full of grammatical errors." ~ grammar nazi reader but still liked and bookmarked for later rereads "You write so good...
