Wings of Fire: The First Animus
𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰, 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝘀... Aurora is a normal IceWing, one without powers. Normal, and almost a nobody. So she doesn't expect anything to change when she goes hunting one day. Instead, something happens that changes her life forever- and has consequences rippling far into the future. Long before the time of Darkstalker and Arctic, centuries before The War of the SandWing Succession, a dragonet hatched from her egg- and changed Pyrrhia forever. _____________________________________________________________ "Have you ever wished for something?" he asked again. "Um, yes," said Aurora. From the corner of her eye, she saw the caribou herd on the move again. They disappeared over the horizon. She tried to hide her disappointment. "Have you ever thought about the possibility of them coming true?" "No, of course not," snapped Aurora. "Some things can never come true." "Well... what if they can?" _____________________________________________________________ COMPLETED BOOK #1 in these categories at one point: #animus #pyrrhia #icewings _____________________________________________________________ The cover was arranged by me. Wings of Fire: The Empty Throne | ✔️
"TWO SHALL DIE AND ONE SHALL LEARN." ______________________________________ The dragonets of destiny have given up on the prophecy. But one dragon isn't willing to let the war go on. Hare will do whatever it takes to see the war end and let the continent live in peace. She will give the SandWings a queen, though she's not sure she'd be able to watch her mother die. When Hare realizes that there's no convincing her friends to keep trying, she turns to another group of dragonets to ask them for help. Flame hates the prophecy. He hates his stupid fate and the stupid NightWing that threw him into this mess. When he finds out the prophecy was fake all along, he's more than happy to give up. He wants nothing more than to go home and see his mother, especially after all that's happened. But Hare manages to be convincing enough, and the last thing he wants is to have to live in fear of losing his mother to the war. Both groups of dragonets have lived their entire lives in a lie, but one will end the war and make Pyrrhia the continent it was before. Even though they were thrown into a misshapen destiny, hope has returned. _________________________________________ The "Twisted Skies" AU belongs to AppleCinnamonCandles Wings of Fire belongs to Tui T. Everyone knows the legend. "When the war has lasted twenty years," the Dragonets of Destiny will arrive to bring an end to decades of bloodshed, and Pyrrhia will finally know peace. With powers like these, he was sure to lead his friends to their destiny of ending the war. But when a new prophecy emerges, and a dark secret is revealed, he is faced with a choice: give up a lifetime of happiness for him and his friends, or sever the threads of fate, and cast the world into a doomed existence...
