I remembered an old concept I came up with back in 8th grade (I'm in 12th now haha) and I just want to develop on that again :)
Basically the story is about a couple of boys when society has crumbled to the ground and everyone is left to fend for themselves. The population has divided between the rich and the poor, those who live in the light and those who live in the dark. Many people almost dehumanized at this point. What happens when those two classes collide, a sickly rich boy named Sage and a small, thin poor boy named Mathew.

"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed.
