My life was never normal.
  It was never meant to be.
  But now, things have entered a whole new screwed-up level of weird.

Accalia Daimon didn't believe in magic.

Snatched in a home invasion at the tender age of three, raised for the next twelve years as a thief and assassin by a brutal cartel leader, Accalia had no time for stories about unicorns and sparkly fairies, where everyone got a happy ending.
Accalia was too busy learning about the harsh reality of the world, that life was cruel and the worst monsters wore human faces - an ideal reinforced when her 'boss' left her for dead, in order to save his own skin.

No, she was too cynical to indulge in emotions, let alone unrealistic fairytales.

But when a monster pulled straight from ancient legends attacks her, tearing apart her already unstable world, the only person who can help her is Lycaon Reckless - a strange boy with equally strange eyes, someone who she can't stand but is her only shot at survival.

Dragged into a bizarre new world where all the myths are real, Accalia has been labelled as one of these so-called 'Underworlders', a massive, sprawling community of monsters that went underground centuries ago, to avoid persecution at the hands of humans. There are different races to be dealt with, politics and age-old feuds to be navigated, and a ruling Council of the Underworld that hates Accalia as much as she hates them.

Unfortunately for Accalia, she has reached the Underworld at the worst possible time - a series of gruesome murders have rocked the community, sparking fear and a rising tension between rival Clans, and when a whole host of important leaders are slaughtered, the blame turns to - surprise, surprise - Accalia herself.

Furious at being falsely accused, Accalia is determined to prove her innocence.
However, her investigations into the murders will unearth a centuries-old battle, a war between two vastly powerful forces - with Accalia caught inbetween.

A murderous, psychopathic pixie with a gun meets a equally attractive, maddening prince who also has a gun. The real twist? A mysterious disease threatens to end this murderous, psychopathic pixie, and her only hope may just be the prince whom she hates... But who are we kidding? There is no story if there is no undeniably, sexually frustrating, overwhelmingly infuriating attraction between Ms. Batshit-crazy herself and a certain prince who clearly has a death wish when it comes to his choice of woman. Buckle up, because when it involves Inferno and Rouhem... I'd start popping that popcorn now. ----------------------------------------------------------------- And god how good he looked in his leather jacket and blue jeans. It was pissing her off. "Oh, really?" he responded to the sound of her gun. His deep voice sent shivers down her spine. She never had such reactions to a male until him, and she has decided that no matter how amazing it felt, it was most likely for the best that she ignored it. "Yes, really!" she snapped, "you barge into my life and don't expect consequences? You must not be Rouhem. He would know that I can get a little trigger happy when someone annoys me, especially you!" Inferno knew herself well enough to firmly state that she was a very irrational person outside of grave situations. Anything that exasperated her usually was shot. It was a mere fact. "Do it then, pixie, make my day." ----------------------------------------------------------------- (WARNING: MATURE CONTENT OF ALL KINDS *EMPHASIS ON THE ALL PART*) (2nd book in this universe of brooding beasts and the women who slay more than Buffy, CAN BE READ AS A STANDALONE, but there are spoilers for the 1st book... you've been warned... but hey, you do what you want... this was definitely way too long of a side-note... my bad... bye)

"Have you found her yet?!" a man sitting on chair asks impatiently. "No, my lord," the soldier says bowing his head. "Well what are you doing here then?" asks the man with anger. "Um- well." "Well are you going to answer or are you just going to stand there like a fool!" he says rudely. "Ah well you see. There are a lot of guards around her and we...the soldiers don't know how to get past all of them without being seen." "So make a plan. I give you one job and you can't do it yourself. You should pity yourself!" the man says standing up abruptly making the chair fall. "Well we do have a plan, my lord." "Okay," the man says staring at the soldier, "Tell me!" he adds when the soldier stays quiet. "We were wondering if we could kill them all by making a trap." "Okay then kill them," the man says with no mercy. "Yes, my lord. We will leave tomorrow," the soldier says bowing his head and leaves. ______________________________ When Arielle gets kidnapped by her mate, she is introduced to a completely new world that changes her life forever. "The curse entailed that only the blood that sought yours, can free you of the curse, until then you shall be asleep." Icarus smirked at her words, he knew where this was going as she continued, "Because your blood is-" "Poisonous and repulsive." She nodded. "So, it's unbelievable that she was the one whose blood sought yours, a human, but it did, or perhaps it was your blood that sought hers...," she mulled over it. "But it's wrong, against the natural-" she observed his gaze. Talking about some natural order of the universe was not something that would befit his ears, given that he was the very example of the abomination formed against the natural laws and order of the blood. ~~ No one knew who he was, or where he came from? But he did, and he conquered all the existing realms, hidden and not so hidden from the human world, and built his kingdom upon the ruins of his enemies. Yet, he remained a pariah. Always was. Always will be. He was Icarus. The Monster. The Legend. The Evil. The Pariah. ~~ Everyone knew her to be a scared little kitten. She looked like one too with her snowy white hair, cerulean blue eyes, and a questionable fate. ~~ What was supposed to be a ridiculous adventure, suggested by her equally ridiculous brave friend turned her life into a whirlwind of crazy and bloody, when she stumbled and accidentally awakened the sleeping, ravenous, and absolutely psychotic monster, Icarus. What made her the lucky woman to jostle him out of his centuries of sleep? As a thanks, she was rewarded with the title of being his most beloved SLAVE. Dive into their journey as we unravel their ribbons of fate, and immerse ourselves into their complicated relationship. ~~ This book is a dark fantasy romance novel and Icarus is an original fantasy character that I created. He is not a vampire or a werewolf but something entirely new and interesting.

Book 1 of The Shadow Series. Myths, that's what the humans called it, but for Ashe it quickly became her reality. Her life changing transformation narrowed her paths down to two; She could either embrace her fates and save the people she's grown to love, or she can walk away and live a somewhat normal life while others suffer the consequences. How far is she willing to go to create peace where there's never been any? Will she even create peace? Or will she help encourage the most brutal war the Shadow Realms have ever experienced? Several years of Asheland's childhood had disappeared from her memory. She assumed it was her brain trying to protect her from a traumatic event, although that's true it's not exactly what she expected and her brain wasn't necessarily the cause. After being homeless until she was sixteen years old, then living in a boat dock for four years, she had finally found her home in a cottage in the near-by mountains of Wolf Creek. Everything seemed to be going well. However, as a list of secrets begin unraveling when Ashe gives in to her overwhelming urges to visit the island that terrified almost every citizen in Wolf Creek, her life becomes more complicated than she could've ever imagined. All of this just because she was turning twenty-one. Nothing was as it had ever seemed. * excerpt from the book * { "Why do you make such reckless, impulsive decisions?" The old man asked as we watched the moon. "The world could end tomorrow and everyone expects me to live in fear today? There's no life to live inside the box of fear, there's no freedom in there," I replied softly. }

Moreover, will she find love at the end of a dark tunnel? * * * * * * * EXCERPT * * * * * * * She was frozen in fear, shaking from head to toe as she watched Rhyvos's skin ripple in a way that looked as if his bone's were shifting into place. Hair began to grow out of his revealed skin and his face became deformed. She blinked and there stood exactly what you would see in every scary werewolf movie. It was just what Abellon called it. A beast. Nothing of the King's body was left. Only a monster. It stood on it's hind leg's and slammed it's front feet into the ground when it was only feet from her before letting out a ferocious roar. Her sight went black and she felt herself fall. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * I HOPE YOU ALL SEE THIS BOOK AS SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER WEREWOLF BOOK'S.
