Hi I'm Y/N. I'm blind. Of course there is much more to me than being blind but that's not how world sees. To be honest I wasn't always blind. I belong to the Kurta Clan that is known for its scarlet eyes when enraged. But I guess I wasn't fortunate enough to have them let alone normal ones. I love sitting near this river in my village while my brother runs away to spend time with his friends, leaving me, his liable elder sister alone. I feel bad for him, he is not someone to take care for both of us. But I guess that has matured him a lot considering our parents separated when we were kids.

As much as I like sitting near this river, I hate it. I often indulge myself in this self pity, that makes me both helpless and drains my energy. I may not be able to provide for him much but there is lot I've been entrusted with.

While I was supposed to walk on this journey at some point in my life, it happen rather sooner than I could have ever imagined. Thinking back, I wonder when my life took a turn and all I could think of is when I met him. As much as it is pitiable to have everyone else around you predict your future and how your story would unfold, comes in someone's and changes it all, everything just by their mere existence. That's who he was for me.
