Elektra Black, or El for short, is the only daughter of the murderous Sirius Black. Growing up without her real dad hasn't stopped her from having a cocky and mischievous personality, despite being brought up by her dad's best friend Remus Lupin, a Professor at the school. In the middle of a stormy night, Remus receives a dripping wet owl with a letter that chills him to his very core.
"Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban."
Now worried that he'll not only try to kill Harry Potter but try to take Elektra back too. After everything Remus has done to protect her, he begs her not to give in to curiosity to go and look for him. Elektra on the other hand, has some plans of her own.
She discovers unsent letters to Sirius from Remus, a secret map of Hogwarts, some hidden feelings of her own and some dark tales that will change her whole life. Will Sirius Black find her, reuniting the family he so desperately craves?
After all, it's pretty cool to have a father who escaped Azkaban.
