I sighed and gazed into his eyes. One of his locks fell in his face. I reached up to sweep them aside when he looked at me with alarm.
"How can you see me?" he asked surprised.
"What do you mean?", I asked him, "can't everybody see you?"
"No, only other angels and god." he started to study my face as if it would give him a clue as to why I could see him. My heart started to pound. I blushed and dipped my gaze to the ground.
"Unless somehow your an angel without wings or..." he trailed off, deep in thought.
"Or what?" I asked curiously. He looked at me and jumped back, hovering in the air.
"Or your the devil's daughter." he said before spreading his wings and taking off into the night.

Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse.
