He twisted his blade in his gloved hand, watching the frightened dove

He took one glance back, then galloped away, sheathing his lance

His action shocked the people, and their views of him changed

Yet he still ran 'round, slicing his lance cross people's neck, to carve the perfect pumpkin

The headless horseman is a terrifying tale, and this is my take on the famous story, with a little romance mixed in.

I never thought my life would be like this; trapped in a dark room and scared for my life. A blindfold was wrapped around my head, covering my eyes, making me completely blind and on high alert. If I was going to die, it would be with the name of my kidnapper. But something changed after she found out she was pregnant that changed everything. This time around, unlike the other stories, the girl is the one who left.
