Natalia Stilinski, twin sister of Stiles Stilinski, has known about the supernatural ever since her best friend Scott McCall became a werewolf. Never did she expect herself to be one of the supernatural beings in the town of Beacon Hills, nor did she expect the idea that she could be a doppelgänger.

Isla Gilbert, born in 1847 as a siphoner witch, grew up in Mystic Falls with her best friends Damon and Stefan Salvatore. In 1864, Katherine Pierce turned the brothers into vampires and Isla into a heretic. 156 years later, Isla and the other citizens of Mystic Falls deal with shocking losses and the newly revealed information that she is a doppelgänger.

One world-shattering event causes the two girls to meet and, later on, join forces in order to take down the biggest threat they have ever faced. Will the McCall pack of Beacon Hills and the vampires of Mystic Falls be able to put aside their differences and take down a villain capable of mass destruction?
