Two boys

Nathaniel and Katsumi are each other's perfect foils. Nat is expressive of his emotions (in the right ways), outgoing, friendly, trusting, and very athletic. He has a wonderful loving family that most people dream about. His mother and father love him more than anything and have taught him to be okay with all his feelings and every part of himself. They also taught him to be accepting of all people no matter their differences. He has great friends and everything seems to be going alright for him.
Kat on the other hand hides everything he feels deep inside, introverted, hates playing sports, and finds it very hard to trust other people or communicate with them. His family is even more messy. His stepfather makes him feel worthless and weak. He was taught that he had to be strong so that he could take care of the company and raise money for his halfsisters to live happily. His stepfather made him believe his emotions didn't matter and that any weakness must be hidden and looked down upon. He was taught that being different was wrong and that anything other than the "traditional" way was to be shunned.
